Their Excellencies Wolfgang von Bremen and
Juliana McPherson, Baron and Baroness of Glymm Mere, wish to
announce that their Royal Majesties are holding a polling to determine Glymm Mere’s new
Baron and Baroness. All interested persons are encouraged to submit
a letter of intent to Their Royal Majesties, with a copy to Their
Excellencies and the Deputy Seneschal, no later than February 25th,
2008. Candidates will attend the March 4th Business
Meeting to meet with the populace and answer questions. Polling
forms will be mailed after the March 4th meeting, and the
polling will take place at the April 1st
Business Meeting. Those who are unable to attend the
polling may submit their forms directly to Their Royal Majesties,
postmarked no later than April 1st.
Polling forms will be mailed to all paid SCA
members within the Barony’s zip code boundaries. Anyone who lives
outside these boundaries but still feels they qualify to participate
in the polling (Champions, Officers, Sergeants, etc.) must contact
the Deputy Seneschal with proof of membership and their mailing
address no later than March 6th, 2008. All polling
participants should be prepared to prove residency and membership
status. All who do not qualify to participate in the polling may
still make their opinions known by writing the Crown directly.
