v The Calendar was sent around.
v The Minutes from the November Business Meeting were read aloud
and approved with the following ammendments:
¨ "Every 3rd Sunday will be Lion's Blood Meetings"
should read "The 3rd Sunday of the month will be Lion's
Blood Meetings"
¨ It is the 2nd level A & S award, not Service Award,
that is being worked on by the Scribe.
v Their Excellencies Report
¨ Her Excellency exclaimed that Yule was great!!
§ Several people received their Goutte de Sange

· Her Ladyship Jamesina O'Shanahan
§ Aedan the Silent and Maeva d'Maas received the Jambe de
Lion
§ Dame Gorandookdt Mamigonian and Archos Gryphon the Black
received the Ewer.
§ Her Ladyship Maeva d'Maas received the Red Hart.
§ Several People received the Award of Arms

¨ A budget has been submitted for Mayfaire. If anyone else
would like to submit a bid please do so by the January Business
Meeting.
¨ We are seeking an autocrat for Sergeant's Trials/A &
S to take place 2 weeks before Mayfaire on April 16.
¨ Anyone who has items for largess for Their Majesties please
let Their Excellencies know.
¨ Master Robert of Aquaterra will be the autocrat for Honeywar.
Anyone who is interested in being the liaison for the Barony,
please let Their Excellencies know.
¨ Their Excellencies are still looking for ideas for things
to use for the baronial awards.
§ The source used historically for the Crystal is no longer
offering the item and searches of other sources do not have the
same crystals.
§ Other items were suggested and will be researched.
v The Seneschal reported that Baroness Catriona will be stepping
up into the office at Court of Love.

§ Total combined total $28,511.53
· Obligated funds of $12,411.34 which includes (but is
not restricted to)
q Officer Budgets: $1,406.55
q Court of Love: $1,000.00
q Buffer: $10,000.00
· Unobligated funds of $15,377.31
¨ The Financial Policy will again be under review
§ The 1st meeting is Feb 8 at 7pm 6pm for food at Coco's.
v The Financial Committee proposed a Provisional Budget for the
A & S Championship/Sergeant Trials for next year of $1,000.00
that was approved by the populace.
¨ An actual Budget must still be submitted and approved by
the populace by the autocrat.
¨ Approving the provisional budget allows for approval of
budgets for later events.
v The Chatelaine had nothing to report.
v Baroness Catriona relayed the report from the Marshall
¨ Cailin Lorne is now a Junior Marshall and will preside
over Fighter Practice.
¨ There are no more Apprentice Ranks for the Marshallate.
¨ There are changes in the Marshal Divisions proposed:
· Heavy
· Rapier
· Target
· Missile Combat
q No more Light Marshals
¨ Anyone without a blue membership card who participates
in any Martial Activity must sign a waiver.
v The Archer's report
¨ Archery practice is continuing as usual.
¨ The saunder's mats are in need of repair.
¨ Archos Gryphon is seeking to step down as Chief Archer.
Anyone who interested should contact him or Their Excellencies.
¨ Archos Aleksei reported that several people in Glymm Mere
will be receiving Archery Medallions, but he has not made a complete
count.
v Arts & Sciences report
¨ The usual meetings are continuing with the addition of
Yule Feast preparations.
¨ Mistress Elisa thanked all who participated in the A &
S display at Yule.
¨ Anyone intending to compete to become the next A &
S Champion must declare so by Court of Love to Mistress Elisa
or to Their Excellencies.
§ Entries must include 2 items with documentation, one of
which may be unfinished.
§ Please inform Mistress Elisa as early as possible so that
she may arrange for appropriate judges.
¨ Lady Tangwystyl verch Morgandt Glasvryn will be conducting
on January 29. Tentatively at Mistress Elisa's classroom, pending
authorization from the Principal.
v The Bardic Championship for Glymm Mere will be held at Court
of Love.
¨ Anyone interested please contact Dame Gorandookt or Her
Excellency
v The Chirurgeon Office is vacant.
v The Constable had nothing to report.
v The Herald's report.
¨ The Herald has received one Letter of Intent for the office.
§ With Their Excellencies permission she would lkike to
step down at Court of Love.
¨ Heraldry Consultation Meetings are again at Baron David's,
though Heraldry Commentary is still on hiatus.
v The Scribe had nothing to report.
v The Chronicler reported that it is time to renew subscriptions.
v The Web Minister is stepping down at Court of Love.
v The Chamberlain had nothing to report.
v The Governing Document Committee will resume on January 11
at 6pm for food, 7pm for the meeting at Coco's.
v The Administrative Retreat was fun and made money!
v HL Maeva returned $50 of the advance received for the food.
¨ Through discounts the food cost less than planned.
¨ 7 local farms and businesses were supported!
¨ HL Maeva would appreciate any pictures from Yule, particularly
of the food.
v Lady Nadja Cel Rau offered to begin and maintain a comment
box.
¨ For both Positive and negative comments.
¨ Not intended for personal attacks or grievances.
§ A grievance process is in place within the SCA.

v Her Excellency relayed the message given by the King at Yule.
¨ Their Majesties were appreciative that the people of Glymm
Mere were as involved in the polling process as they were, but
were concerned that our Barony was fractured - we are a Barony
with very firm opinions and that sometimes we may exclude people
we may have a mutual gain from due to being set in what we believe
to be the problem. Their Majesties offered that we take a step
back and re-asses and look for what we mutually offer the Barony.
v Her Excellency would like to begin restoration and creation
projects in preparation for the heirs to come.
