Yule Feast 2010

December 4th 2010

The Story so far....

Saturday evening after all the festivities of her first masked ball were over, a young maiden laid restless, finding it difficult to get to sleep. After tossing and turning for some time Zarjah decided that a walk might help. She walked along the moon lit beach for some time until her legs informed her that it was time to turn back. Stopping, she looked at the waves as they crashed against the shore. A sigh left her lips as the water licked her bare toes, which felt good as they wiggled in the soft, wet sand. It was then that she felt, both with her heart and her toes, something buried beneath her feet. Reaching down she discovered a small wooden box partially buried in the sand and picked it up. Putting it up to the moonlight, letters appeared, “Seek out a Bard who sings with her sword where young Eagles learn and Arts and Sciences are on display”. Deciding that she was too tired to decipher the message, Zarjah took the box and returned to her hotel. A dark figure watched as the young maiden walked down the beach, it’s curses muffled by the sound of the crashing waves which harkened the approaching storm.
