Let it be known throughout the Kingdom of An
Tir that we, the people of Blatha An Oir, striving ever to be true King�s
servants by supplying their Royal Majesties with mead brewed from honey and,
Whereas; the Barony of Glymm Mere, by virtue
of forces unknown have knowingly and maliciously absconded with most of Our
Fair Barony�s honey supply, thus restricting the flow of mead to their Royal
Majesties, and
Whereas; Baron Aleksii Konstantinovich
Chernoi, by the Grace of the Sable Lion made the Baron of Blatha An Oir, and
his inspiration the Baroness Elspeth Nic Grath, beloved by all of Blatha An
Oir, cannot satisfy their obligations of mead to their Royal Majesties, and
Whereas; the Baron Wolfgang von Bremen and
Baroness Juliana MacPherson, Baron and Baroness of Glymm Mere, have callously
claimed feeble ignorance of this fact; we have determined that they shall
hereby be held accountable in the following manner:
First: That the Barony of Blatha An Oir and
the Barony of Glymm Mere shall meet upon the golden fields of Dragon�s Sphere
to settle this matter in honorable combat,
Second: That the spoils of war be 50 Imperial
pounds of honey, delivered to the victor of the war upon the conclusion of
battle.
Third: That the victor shall produce with
this honey mead for Their Royal Majesties, to be donated in the name of both
Baronies for the purpose of scutage and,
Lastly: That a portion of this mead shall be
shared upon the field of battle between the two Baronies at a later date.
This we pledge upon our Honor this 1st day of
December, Anno Societatis two and forty.
