Highland Harvest Feast 2009

 

 

 

October 17th

Come to the The Highland Harvest Feast Aka the Glymm Mere Highland
games.

Kilts are not required but are in fashion and greatly appreciated

There will be athletic events such Caber toss, Stone throw and
Throwing stone for accuracy. There will also be events for youth as
well as “gental “ events for those less physically inclined.

Activities include Glymm Mere's Bardic Champion, Brewing Champion,
Thrown weapons Champion, and Pie making contest.

Schedule

Feast will consist of
Cock-a-leekie soup
Beef and barley soup
Shepard’s pie w meat
Shepard’s pie w/o meat
Sweet potato fries
Blueberry crisp
Apple crisp

Fees: Adult $6.00, Youth 17-12 $5.00, 11 and under are free

From the north or south take I-5 to exit 88 (Aberdeen/Tenino.) Turn
towards Tenino. Follow for 8 miles to Hwy 507 and turn right. Follow
for 2 miles to 184th Ave SE and turn left. 184th will turn into
Skookumchuck Grange Hall.

Skookumchuck Grange Hall will be on the
