Unto their Royal Majesties, Cedric and Elizabeth, and Their Excellencies, Wolfgang and Juliana, do we Sir Godric ap Rhys and The Honorable Lady Kara of St Davids send greetings.

By this letter do we herby humbly submit ourselves to be considered as the next Coronets for the wonderful treasure that is the Barony of Glymm Mere. The Barony has flourished under the last coronet's tenure and we hope to follow in their footsteps by providing leadership, promoting unity and maintaining a level of decorum and honor that will reflect positively on Glymm Mere and its populous.

We both feel that the Barony of Glymm Mere is truly a place of community where real world ties are made and tremendously valuable relationships are forged. So much love, support, and appreciation can be found in this wonderful group of people that we would seek to protect this circle of friends and see it grow through kindness, enthusiasm, patience and courtesy. We promise these things regardless of whether or not we are selected to become the next coronets.

We have led by example in the Barony serving as officers, champions and autocrats in our 23 year combined involvement in the SCA. Our belief in the society's ideals of chivalry, courtesy and honor will allow us to guide the populace as well as support and encourage their involvement at all levels. We are well traveled having attended many events near and far, even braving the breadth of the known world to serve the Crown at the Great Pennsic War. Our travels and high level of involvement will allow us to represent our populace both inside and outside the Barony and to share all that makes Glymm Mere great with the Kingdom and the Known World.

If we are selected, we do hereby pledge to first and foremost represent the Crown's interests in the Barony and in return, the Barony's interests to the Crown. We shall also promise to bear witness to the deeds and accomplishments of the populous by recognizing their efforts with suitable baronial tokens or creating new awards to match outstanding achievement. In addition, we vow to take charge of the defense and well-being of the people of the Barony while fostering a welcoming environment for all.
